To complement our range of cables we now offer a selection of cable preparation, cutting and termination tools. As users of cutting and preparation tools for many years ourselves, we wanted to find products which combined quality with great value for money.
Manufactured to extremely high standards and complying with ISO 9001:2000 the tools are robust and built to last. Heat treated hardened steel is used so the blades cut cleanly time after time.
Our portable hydraulic cutters will cut most cables including armoured, mains, aluminium and copper, concentric, telephone and large flexible and instrumentation cables.
Flip-top rotatable heads which easily clamp over the cable allow cutting at any angle in comfort. The dual action hydraulic pump closes the cutter jaws quickly until resistance is met at which point the second stage completes the cutting with the least possible effort.
Special versions are also available designed to cut solid steel rebar used to reinforce concrete. If you want a separate cutting head and pump this is also catered for, ideal when working in a confined space or for mounting to a cable winding or payout machine.
Conventional two handed cutters are also stocked in three lengths from 350mm to 700mm including a telescopic handled version (ideal for carrying in a tool box) capable of cutting unarmoured cables up to 240mm of copper or aluminium.
Hydraulic and hand crimpers are also stocked to suit anything from a 400mm2 lug to a tiny coax connector. The benefit of the hydraulic crimpers is the ease of fitting lugs securely onto large conductors.
Each tool comes with a set of dies to suit and a handy carrying case. Separate crimping heads are also available for bench work, or for working in very confined areas. The range is rounded off with hand cutters and strippers for safe, easy cutting and termination.
With no minimum order quantity you can buy a single item or more to supply other sites or engineers.
