The new Riser range of cables have been designed to run alongside power cables due to their 0.6/1kV power rating. Both cables are Low Smoke Halogen Free throughout and offer class 5 flexibility - making them ideal for installation and routing in confined spaces. The RiserShield features a dual screen with an overall foil and tinned copper wire braid to reduce both radiated and induced interference. This makes this cable ideal for running clean supplies to computer rooms in close proximity to power cables by minimising the effects of high and low frequency interference. The RiserFlex is the unarmoured version of the RiserShield and once again is LSHF throughout, with class 5 flexible conductors and is suited for use in buildings running under floors, in risers and dry ducts.
