LF-315 Screened Multi-core

Developed for signal and control applications in sensitive areas, the LF-315 range offers excellent flame retardance whilst emitting no halogens or other corrosive gases when exposed to fire. These cables are colour coded to the DIN 47100 standard and offers excellent flexibility and durability.
    

Cable Construction

Fine copper wire strands to BS6360. Special Low Smoke Halogen Free insulation, colour coded cores twisted together with overall PETP tape and tinned copper wire braid. Flame retardant Halogen Free Light Grey sheath.

At FSC we refer to LSHF as Low Smoke Halogen Free

This term is interchangeable with LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen), LSOH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen), OHLS (Zero Halogen Low Smoke) and FRNC (Flame Retardant Non-Corrosive). Beware of the terms LSF (Low Smoke and Fume) or RP (Reduced Propogation), when relating to signal or control cables will normally be modified PVC and produce 'Loads of Smoke and Fume'!

Fire retardant, fire resistant, flame resistant or flame retardant?
