FPE/LSHF Alternative to Belden 3107A Foil and Braid Overall Screen Data Cable

The cable features two pairs of conductors, each individually shielded with 100% aluminium foil coverage, providing superior protection against electromagnetic interference (EMI). Additionally, it incorporates a tinned copper wire braid (65% coverage) as an overall screen for enhanced shielding, ensuring reliable data transmission even in electrically noisy environments.

The outer sheath is made of Low Smoke Halogen Free (LSHF) material, which significantly reduces the risk of harmful smoke and toxic gases in the event of a fire. The black outer sheath provides added durability and a professional appearance, while meeting critical safety standards.

With a nominal conductor resistance of less than 60 Ω/km, this cable ensures efficient signal transmission with minimal power loss. It also offers excellent insulation resistance of over 200MΩ·m, which helps prevent signal degradation and ensures long-term reliability.

The cable has an impedance of 120 Ohms nominal, with a capacitance of 35 pF/m between core-to-core and 70 pF/m between core-to-screen, making it ideal for high-speed data transmission applications. It has a voltage rating of 450/750V and a test voltage of 2.5 kV for 5 minutes, ensuring performance and safety under demanding conditions.

With an overall diameter of 8.9mm nominal and a minimum bend radius of 10 times the outer diameter (OD), this cable is flexible and easy to install in confined spaces. It operates effectively in a wide range of temperatures from -30°C to +70°C, making it suitable for both harsh cold and hot environments.

This cable complies with industry safety standards, including BS EN 60332-1-2 for flame retardancy and BS EN 61034-2 for low smoke generation. It is also RoHS compliant, UV-resistant, and weather-resistant, having been tested to ISO 4892-3. Additionally, it is CE compliant with LVD (2014/35/EU) and CPR (305/2011) certifications. The CPR classification is B2ca s1a, d0, a1 (EN50575:2014+A1:2016), ensuring it meets rigorous fire safety and environmental standards.
