Prysmian UC Connect Cat6/Cat6A Solid U/UTP, U/FTP, or F/FTP Cable - CPR Class B2ca

Manufactured with solid bare copper conductors, these 4-pair installation cables are suitable for permanent installation within buildings, cable ducts and flush-mounted systems. They are compatible with sockets, patch panels and LSA termination modules, making them ideal for professional structured cabling installations.

The Cat6A U/FTP cable features individually foil-shielded pairs for excellent protection against crosstalk, while the Cat6A F/FTP version adds an overall foil shield to provide enhanced immunity against electromagnetic interference (EMI). The Cat6 U/UTP version provides a cost-effective unshielded solution for standard data networking applications.

Designed to exceed the requirements of EN 50173-1, ISO/IEC 11801, IEC 61156 and IEEE 802.3 standards, the cables support transmission frequencies up to 500 MHz (Cat6A) and are fully compatible with Power over Ethernet (PoE), PoE+ and IEEE 802.3bt Type 4 (PoE++) applications over channel lengths up to 100 metres.

The halogen-free, flame-retardant (LSHF) outer sheath meets CPR Euroclass B2ca s1a d1 a1 requirements, making these cables suitable for installation in public and commercial buildings where enhanced fire performance is required.
