Fluctuations of between 10 and 12% over a 3 month period would once have sparked fear in the cable industry but are now taken in its stride.
The next few months are likely to see much of the same, with perhaps some small increases here or there.
China and India continue to dominate the increase in demand with the Beijing Olympics less than a year away.
