As a member of the PROFI foundation, FS Cables stock a number of cables for this popular automation system including the Profinet Type A cable.
The 4 x 22AWG Profinet Type A features an aluminium foil tape and overall braid screen and is LSHF throughout, meaning the insulation and sheath will give off significantly less toxic fumes and smoke when burnt compared to traditional PVC making it suitable for sensitive environments.
In addition, FS Cables also offer the Type B and Type C versions in PVC and LSHF on short lead times. Type A is an ideal solution for fixed installations whereas Type B and Type C are offered to suit more flexible installations. These cables meet the PROFINET standard for industrial Ethernet, ensuring their quality of performance and reliability.
To complement the Bus cabling range, FS also stock the Profibus DP cable. A range of single pair Profibus cables for process and filed communication in cell networks providing optimum transmission rates of up to 12Mbits/sec. These are available in variations of PVC, PUR, FEP, LSHF, external duct grade or SWA (steel wire armoured).
