Following an unsuccessful attempt from Nexans in October 2010, Prysmian are now bidding to acquire Draka.
At time of going to press Prysmian has offered €840 million for Draka the Dutch based cable manufacturer who took over Delta Enfield in the 90’s.
Draka has two cable factories in the UK at Derby and Washington producing top quality cables. We hope both factories will continue.
